CHATGPT INTEGRATED IN DS IRIS SYSTEM

DS Automobiles is the first Brand in Europe to enrich the voice recognition feature using the Artificial Intelligence of ChatGPT*. ​

Now your DS is capable to understand complex questions, to generate rich explanations and to provide suggestions on different topics, such us history, geography, literature and more in a smoother way. ​
Thanks to the integration of ChatGPT in DS IRIS System, you can safely talk with your travel companion keeping your hands on the wheel, without any need to touch the infotainment screen. All of this in total respect of your privacy**. ​

Besides getting answers, you can also give commands to your DS IRIS System to follow the ChatGPT recommendations, such as navigating to the place you just conversed about with your DS, or navigate to the preferred restaurant near you. ​

Just remember that ChatGPT version 3.5 uses data up to January 2022, so it has no knowledge of events and data after this date. ​

**ChatGPT is integrated in DS IRIS System thanks to the audio and voice recognition system of SoundHound. Being an Artificial Intelligence language model, it is developed to generate human-like responses based on deep learning, but as it is new and developing technology, its answers or information may not be totally accurate, correct or objective. As with any other virtual assistant, we recommend you not to rely only on the information provided and to avoid sharing private information. DS Automobiles integrates ChatGPT in DS IRIS System to enhance the vehicle's voice recognition capabilities. ​

Start discovering all the topics you can now learn about. Converse with DS IRIS System about the city you are approaching in your trips, to receive suggestions on the places to discover or the best recipes to taste.​ 
For example, you could say: "OK IRIS, suggest me the best places to visit in a three-hours tour in Paris". You can also converse about the most various topics of your everyday life, saying "OK IRIS, give me ideas on how to make a work meeting as effective as possible", or "OK IRIS, give me an original speech for my friend's birthday, who is celebrating his 40th birthday".  
Just remember that asking for real time information (such as sport results, breaking news or if a shop is open in this moment) are not questions that your new travel companion can answer.​

To benefit from ChatGPT, you need to be the owner of one of the following vehicles in the DS current range: DS 3, DS 4, DS 7 and DS 9 when equipped with DS IRIS SYSTEM.​

Moreover, your Connected Navigation Pack need to be active.​

If your vehicle is in line with the criteria listed above, you just need to sign in and click on the button above “Activate Now”, follow the steps proposed for activating and then go onboard, being sure to be in an area covered by a strong mobile signal. An automatic Over the Air update will enable ChatGPT* on your DS IRIS System and as soon as you receive the confirmation of the activation via mail, just saying “OK IRIS” you can start conversing with your DS in the most interactive way. ​

If you do not have an active Connected Navigation Pack, you can activate it by clicking:

• E-TENSE
• PureTech/BlueHDi

Once subscribed to Connected Navigation Pack you can after activate ChatGPT at no additional cost.​ Remember that the usage is linked to the remaining time of your Connected Navigation Pack. If your Connected Navigation Pack contract expires before the ChatGPT one, it will be necessary to renew your Connected Navigation Pack to continue benefiting of your new travel companion.
